Patty grew up in Arizona, where she was a sprinter and soccer player in school. When discovered by Playboy, she was working behind the counter of a fast-food chicken restaurant in Phoenix. 

Patty's post-centerfold experience included making a series of the Sidaris films. She eventually returned to Arizona, enrolled in Arizona State University and earned a bachelor's degree in social work, magna cum laude. She is now a social worker.
