During the Fifties and early Sixties, Madeline appeared as a pin-up in nearly 100 books and magazines. Her Playmate shot, by Jack and Jean Drebert, features an uninspired pose. As Hefner observes, "Playboy's editors had yet to take an active hand in the Playmate photography."
