Jackie Rainbow

Like most of the other Playmates of 1954, calendar model Jackie Rainbow first appeared as an anonymous model. Unlike her predecessors, however, Jackie wasn't a Baumgarth Calendar Company pin-up: Hefner purchased her photo, which was shot by Carlyle Blackwell, from Publix Pictorial Service. Little is known about Jackie today. Not even Tom Benjamin, a dedicated pin-up fan and indefatigable researcher -- his beyond-Playboy sightings of other early centerfold models run into the hundreds -- has been able to turn up a single other Jackie Rainbow appearance in any publication.
