Pat Lawler

Photographer Hal Adams once inadvertently left his pipe in a Hartog Shirt ad shooting: It subsequently became his trademark. Playmate cognoscenti will note that Adams placed Pat Lawler on the very stool on which Jayne Mansfield had perched as Miss February earlier in the year. Although he considered himself primarily an advertising, not a pin-up, photographer, Adams actually shot five of the 11 Playmates of 1955 (Mansfield, Marguerite Empey, Lawler, Anne Fleming and Jean Moorehead).
