Most people find their direction in life by trial and error. Mine was decided almost in utero. I took my first picture of my sister with a box camera when I was four years old...and the die was cast. I have made my life and my living since that day in the performing arts. As a ballet dancer, as an actress, but most indelibly, as a photographer. I am a sixth-generation Californian. My great-grandmother was the first woman in California to run for state legislature, in 1912. My mother designed the San Buenaventura flag. I have studied photography at the Art Center College of Design and film directing at UCLA. I am the mother of two children and reside in Pacific Palisades, California.
