A caption under one of the photos in Mickey's pictorial describes her as "relaxing in the hay." Demonstrating their close attention to detail, readers wrote in noting that Mickey was resting on straw, not hay. 

While working as a Bunny at the original Chicago Playboy Club, Mickey became best friends with fellow Playmate -- Bunnies Patti Reynolds and Linda Gamble. In 1963, she headed west to Southern California to combine careers in restaurant management and interior design. A 32-year marriage to her "true love at the time" ended in divorce; she's now wed to her second husband. They recently sold a bar/restaurant in the Lake Tahoe area and now live near another lake where they can indulge in waterskiing, boating and snow skiing. 

"Believe it or not, I still get fan mail," Mickey says today.
